You said you're still trying to understand digital art, and I think looking to other peoples' works are a great way to practice! However, I personally wouldn't upload something like this. I know you're referencing LavanderTowne but this is REALLY heavily referenced. It's great for practice. But this would be a bit unfair to say you only "referenced" the image. It's so heavily "referenced" it gives off a traced feel.

Good on you to practice, but I would not have uploaded this on the pretense of just a reference.
Keep practicing though! It's always good to practice!

Thanks for your response! I added "strongly copied" to the link.
I still want to upload "my" art. This is really helping me improve, by actually creating things that look more pleasing and it is satisfying to see that people have seen it. I want to clarify that I did not trace the picture but I admit that it looks like a recolored version.
From now on, I will mention if I merely referenced something or basically copied it and I think it might bring some people to the owner of the original artwork.

If you think that my opinion is wrong and I should abstain from uploading these kinds of creations, please feel free to explain more why and I am willing to change my ways if convinced.
